May build an earthworks over the entrance? Just a big ol' hill, with a house or a tower or a tree at the top of the hill, that has a perch or a second story or a treehouse or something that is the AFK spot. Then you can do tunnels into the hill for entry (and from S7 we *know* that you're good at interesting tunnels).

Hey xB, since you wanted to change up the storage floor a bit, you could add some texture to it by mixing different kinds of quartz blocks, calcite and bone blocks.
If you still felt like it needed a bit of color mixed in, you could consider sparse stripes of colored glass with concrete of the same color underneath.
There's definitely quite a bit of contrast between the more detailed walls of those rooms and the currently plain floors, but it's already starting to look very nice!
