Did I Quit YouTube? - Living The Van Life

Many have been asking why I quit posting to YouTube. Here is a video explaining why, what and how! I will continue posting all of my normal video content here on YouTube just as I always have before. I have just been extremely busy out CREATING content so that I can post content soon here on the channel.

Every single thumbnail on any channel, including mine, is designed to bait clicks. That’s the whole purpose of ANY title and any thumbnail —to stand out in a sea of information and entice clicks. Any successful youtube content creator has learned the importance of what a title and thumbnail does for them. I put a lot of time into each one of mine.

Don’t get me wrong. I knew exactly what I was doing with my title and my thumbnail on this video. I needed to post a video to youtube addressing the hundreds of comments and questions I was getting about “Why did you quit posting on YouTube?”. So I titled it “why I quit youtube” because I couldn’t fit much more than that in the tiny thumbnail. 😂 What I didn’t realize is just how sensitive everyone is to a video title these days. Man! 😂😂 I thought everyone came here to watch and listen to videos. But evidently now it’s more about what the TITLE is instead of what’s in the actual video. My bad. My BAD. 😂

Just so I don’t offend anyone, I feel like I better start titling my videos “I Drove My Van Down a Dirt Road In The North Cascade Mountains of Washington State To a Campsite To Build a Campfire To Cook a Meal Over a Fire and Sleep in My Van in The Snow” —incase “Snow Adventure” is too click bait-ish for folks. 😂😂😂

Anyway, so good to see you've been exercising those creative muscles and looking forward to seeing the output.

And that 140bhp / 2.0Tdi VW engine I'm sure you know is just huge in the UK / Europe. Just everywhere and so may applications. And with the barest maintenance they'll do 300/400k miles all day. I've had one that did 180k miles, ran like a swiss watch. My bro had one with 210/220k on it that was still rock solid.
