Was going crazy looking for my SSL Plugins that came with my new UF1 and UC1.
I followed your steps, found them and saw 'crashed validation'. Scanned and revalidated them and all is well now.
Also found a couple of my old plugins i'd given up on because i didn't know how to locate them.

Hi and thanks! I do have another problem though - the boxes are checked in the plugin manager view, however I can't find the manufacturer or the plugins in logic :( Does anyone have any idea what I could be doing wrong?

What about when the manufacturer doesn't show up at all in plugin manager even though you put the vst where all the other vst's go?

Hey, I was just wondering if you’ve ever experienced this?

So I'm not sure what has happened, or more so how. But all my 3rd party plug-ins have disappeared. I had used a symlink file to save on space, so they were actually on my SSD. They've worked perfectly for years, but I've just opened my most recent project to find they've all became unavailable. They were working fine just yesterday and I hadn't deleted anything.

When I go into plug-in manager, they are all missing from the manufacturer section. I only have Apple and Logic in the list!

Since then I've deleted the cache and restarted.

I've moved the components file out of the bit, (which is still a symlink at the moment). Then restarted Logic.

I've even deleted Logic from m MacBook and reinstalled it, which I'm not sure but might have caused further problems as it kind of started from the beginning when I opened it. Everything seems normal for now though.

The only problem being, my plug-ins are still missing from Logic. Nothing has brought them back.

So any help would be very much appreciated.
