1st class as Syracuse I had a qb that wanted to come so I signed him and later decided to see if there was any better qbs being under recruited and there was a 4 star lefty qb with no offers. He was a gem and had elite dev. He led the Orange to an undefeated natty season as a true freshman. BOY IS IT GOOD TO HAVE NCAA BACK BABY

IF you didn’t know. When you need to offer several scholarships back-to-back, hold LT to filter your recruiting board by “needs scholarship” and then just spam the A button. Makes offering 35 scholarships so much faster!

That Old Dominion speed run is how I play the game.
I never play the games I just stay focused on the recruiting! Lol

It’s mad satisfying when you win a prospect battle against the bigger schools 😭

Idk if anyone said it, but you get the most influence for offering a scholarship before recruiting “begins, ” so you should have a full board and everyone getting a scholarship before the season starts.

Not sure if you said this but don’t underestimate the sway option. It only gives you 3 green arrows but if your pitch lands, the following week you can hard sell him and his interests will update. This recruit has 5 check marks in his interests because of that sway in the previous week.

I had a five star gem commit to another school, so I dropped him from my board. At the end of the season he decommitted from them and committed to my school. Didn't have to keep him on my board.

Don’t be afraid to take some shots as well, I missed on my QB prospect in about week 4 & went to check other prospects. #2 OVR QB had an open recruitment, 0 interest & no pipeline influence but I put in max hours on him & jumped to #1 interest in 2 weeks.

I know it's just 5 hours but probably should scout then offer scholarships, so that you're not wasting scholarship hours on a player you're going to remove if they scout as a bust

Once again another great video. I’m doing a UConn Dynasty and I’m too far in to year 1 to implement the strategies used in both of these videos but I’m going to be way better in year 2. Thanks for doing ODU. It at least helps me considering UConn is 1.5 stars. I want to see more people use UConn though to see what I’m dealing with. 😂

Your coaches can impact pipeline scores through their individual pipelines and there are two skill categories in the Program Builder skill tree that can increase your pipeline tiers and pipeline bonuses.

I've enjoyed having my game back and Dynasty is the best the recruiting is awesome build a few schools then go coach the team you want to is an awesome addition to the best sports game

Idk if y’all figured this out but the de commits from what I’ve seen are only due to fluid dealbreakers like play style. You can delete the lost recruit unless your bitter and curious about their development like me.

week 4-5 is a good week look at 4 stars with open recruitment no matter the school you are there are always 6-7 commits that no school goes after

I signed 12 four star recruits in my first season with Western Michigan (1.5 star team) by exclusively going after players that were not being targeted by other schools. In season 2, I so far have signed 8 four stars, but have been focusing on position needs since the first season I took whoever I could get.

I did a few seasons of testers (with Ohio state) and I got over 50% of players I went after that I was not in the top ten to start recruiting period in, but I usually invested over 50 points per week on each prospect. So if you have one or two prospects you really want, it’s ok to go after them even if you’re not in top ten, but be ready to commit extra hours on them

If you plan on scouting a player first week you should always scout first before you offer a scholarship. If they're a bust you technically saved 5 hours to offer a scholarship elsewhere

I love going after 3* and 2* as a motivator paired with scheme, then increasing their overall to higher than a 5* by their Junior season.
