You dont want to remove the ones youre locked out from, just shuffle them down your list because unlike when you locked out due to a verbal committment, you can get back into the ones youre locked out from sometimes if other teams drop out later toward the end and still pick them up. Never throw out Locked Out players. keep em on the board, especially if youre not filling up the board with 35 players. I do it all the time.

another tip, when scrolling through 4 and 5 stars, it’s better to look position by position because sometimes players just won’t show up when you look at all states and recommended. sometimes you’ll literally have 4 or 5 stars that have interest in your school that you don’t see unless you look at each position sorted by 4 star/5 star prospects

Don't sleep on guessing the hard sells. I find that it's better than a perfect soft sell even if you miss one on the hard sell. If you miss the first hard sell, you're basically guaranteed to get it right on the second one. Oh, always guess a more favorable grade for your school. If it's the right one, great. If not, it seems like it helps to sell the higher grade.

Recruiting post patch has become amazingly easy. Man I got 17 5 stars my last class back to back number 1 classes. Now I have climbed to be that good. Before the patch I wasn't getting no where near 17 5 stars 😅

I started an online dynasty with Texas State. They got some talent on their team. But when I got to recruiting I realized like everyone is a senior and their backup is a senior 😅 so I have like 33 team needs.

I noticed a funny thing. I leveled up a coach well past level 50. Those points keep stacking, but you don’t get anything for them after level 50. I moved onto another franchise and played one season. At the end of that season all those old coaching points applied to my current coach/dynasty. I got 140 points at the end of my first year with a one star program that got 4 wins.

the hard sell is only better than sending the house if you have good ratings. like if your 3 green check marks are all B- or better it can be great but when rebuilding a school dont hard sell with Cs and Ds in your hard sell ratings

It almost doesn’t matter since the amount of gems is out of control. I’ve vetted two draft classes thoroughly since the patch, and roughly 30% are gems.

What are your assistants rated in recruiting? If they have the upgrades, you're getting them. My OC and DC have recruiting archetypes and together they pretty much cover me on recruiting. If I upgrade recruiting, I get like double or triple the boost. Keep in mind you get their skills too, and check their pipeline. They have one too. Even though it doesn't show a boost in that area, I swear I get boost there for their side of the ball. I bought all the recruiting upgrades and my first year had 8 5 stars once I started figuring things out. You gonna need the recruiting boost if you want to get the players you really want. I upgrade what I need after seeing my assistants and go to tactician. It by far better than motivation in the beginning. You upgrade your entire roster overall skills permanently. Until you can get strategist and program builder it's best to recruit well and boost their skill ratings in the beginning. Depending on the player, they get from 2 to 5 overall points after you boost the tactician, it boost the exact skills that make them good at their position and that boost is forever for any player you bring in. I enjoy motivator but it tactician is the most powerful between the 2
