How to add your Gmail account to Outlook

Setting up your Gmail account within the Outlook app in Office 365 or Office 2019 isn't as simple as it should be. In this video I make show you how to make a couple of changes to your account settings to allow Outlook to work with Gmail.

I tried to do this when Verizon stopped supporting email. Neither they nor AOL could help me. I just changed to Comcast and really needed to get my gmail active and sending to Outlook. Clear and concise. I'd reset my gmail password and as a result was locked out of accessing it via Outlook 2016. Gmail had made 2 step verification mandatory in 2022 so it took a while for me to understand why I couldn't regain access. Your tutorial explained that simply. Thanks - and subscribed.

The 'allow less secure apps' is no longer an option. Google have removed it. (Feb 2023) ... and that's without 2 step.

Thanks, it worked for me. @1:57. But google is showing that now the service for less secure apps will no longer available from 30th May 2022. But today on 1st June 2022, it worked.
