Great video, helped me out better than the google support site did.
I do want to mention that for anyone having this issue as of August 2023, there isn't a "Cookies and other site data" option. Instead, here's how to find the same solution:
Settings-> Privacy and Security-> Site Settings-> Additional Content Settings-> On-device site data-> "Allow sites to save data on your device"
Kinda annoying that it's now at the very bottom of the setting list, but it's there. Searching "site data" like the video describes was the easiest way to find it without knowing the location though.

If you're still facing the issue and can't see the options in the video, just reset your settings. It won't delete anything, and the problem will be fixed.

This button ability does not exist on my chrome and I use the latestest version on it.

What if 'Clear cookies and site data..' is unavailable? Its literally missing in between 'block 3rd part cookies' and 'do not track'

I don't know if you're able to help me, but I thought I would reach out to you. I am not exactly sure what happened but I noticed all my bookmarks and extensions have changed in Google Chrome.

I think what I did by accident is did a Google Sync and copied over them because my background color changed.

Is there any way I can get more old bookmarks back?

It's still not working for me. I've explored over 30 videos on the topic at hand, but my sync still switches off when I return to Chrome. I quit... Nothing works, even though I take it slowly. I'm guessing I changed something in the settings without realizing it.
