Показать описание
Network Function Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) are the latest disruptive technologies, allowing telecoms businesses to meet the challenges of the digital era and Internet of Things (IoT) head on.

Network Function Virtualization makes it possible for each node in the network topology to become a micro-datacenter, able to host various applications. In this way, latency-sensitive applications such as those installed in autonomous cars, don’t have to be hosted in a distant datacenter. Instead, they can be as close to the user as possible. As a result, the communication path between the user and the application becomes shorter and the application server latency can be reduced to 1 millisecond.
