Keep in mind, Junkrat is one of the youngest in overwatch (despite being one of the tallest). He's only 25. Also, the fact that his madness isn't even his fault, growing up in an irradiated wasteland. He literally lacks guidance.

I love how the only two people that treat junk rat relatively well are the two main villains of overwatch

This feels like a memory recollection as the team remembers Junkrat. Let’s say he died in a surprisingly dignified and heroic manner; saving Mercy, Symmetra, D.VA, Mei and Roadhog from an exploding unit. He blast-jumps them out with his Concussion Mine, but runs out of them. He just smiles and waves at the team before he goes up in flames.

The whole of the Overwatch team is shocked and stunned at the level of sacrifice this apparent lunatic just took.

Folks leave all types of gifts at his grave. Roadhog places down a little rat plush we won at an arcade, Hanzo one of his explosive arrows, Lucio a copy of Junkrat’s favorite album, Genji a Japanese firecracker, Torbjorn a miniature version of Junkrat’s Frag Launcher, etc…

Even Sym had to admit…she would give up her nanotechnology if it mean she could hear his silly little giggle one last time…
