i don’t think she was supposed to be released in 2020 but that doesn’t excuse her icon not even being shown except for endorsements

Fun fact: they actually did try to redesign her but the Japanese animator tasked with it had a ton of trouble with getting the face to look right. The occipitofutanalis (forehead things or futa for short) just would not look right animated, and it ended up having to be scrapped. Look up OW2 echo Futa and you’ll see what I’m talking about.

Her model looks so good already. I legitimately was admiring her the othet day on how high res she looked when I was on character selection, so I don't think she needs an updated 2 model.

Jeff actually had an interview with a content creator (I don't remember who) when echo came out and they asked about echo getting a new design for ow2 and Jeff said that she was so recent that it just wouldn't be worth the time to make a new design.

I like to think that Echo, being so technologically advanced for a Omnic makes her default skin actually a new skin by itself.

Echo is actually a pretty good DPS, she's has the damage to kill every tank with that beam and kill supports with her right click. Once your team is missing a role you can just become someone from their team.
