Stop using shampoo, use any of the 5 ways mentioned in the video to wash your hair for healthy hair growth.

Shelf life - Protein hair cleanser, Hair wash powder - Mix the powder and store it for 3-4 months. Add water before your hair wash.
Shampoo bar, Herbal wash - Keep the shampoo in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. To store it for longer freeze the shampoo in an ice cube tray.
Soap-free cleanser - Make it fresh or store the aloe vera green tea in an ice cube tray.

** You can also add 0.50 grams of Liquid Germall Plus preservative for 100 grams of shampoo to make it last for 3 months.

Caution - When you start using natural cleansers or hair ingredients to wash your hair, your hair might feel dry, rough or you might even experience hair fall as your hair will be going to a transition phase to get adjusted to the natural ingredients as opposed to the chemical ones from the commercial shampoos and hair products that you have been using. Once your hair gets used to the natural routine then you will experience healthy and faster hair growth.

I went off shampoo for an entire year and and saw amazing results, I like all your recipes, however does it remain natural if you are adding baby shampoo in it? The whole point of going to natural remedies is to avoid the use of chemicals, I faced the same problem initially for lather but soon discovered some natural ingredients that create lather.
Pro tip 1 : take 3 hibiscus flowers and 5 hibiscus leaves, chop them and add 1 cup water, grind and strain the leaves( it's important to strain as the leaves are difficult to remove from hair) .
Then use the strained water as replacement of shampoo in the above recipes.
Pro tip 2 : this is easier
Boil 2 glasses of water with 2 tablespoons of flax seeds powder, until it's reduced to half, strain it while it's hot ( it's becomes like jelly once cooled) and use as a replacement of shampoo in the above recipes. Completely natural. No shampoo needed.
Your welcome 😀

The last recipe is tried and tested and works wonders. Just make sure to wear gloves while straining the liquid, it may make your nails and hands black(due to the natural color).

Hey there!.. Great tips here. 🥰
As for me, I've been washing my hair with no conventional shampoo for over a year. I've tried a lot of natural cleansers and now I've come to a certain stable routine which I simply adore. I'm always using rye bread and raw eggs instead of a shampoo. For conditioning I love using rice water with lemon juice for having my hair cuticules closed and protected. And after a wash I slightly touch my wet hair ends with a little drop of shea oil + beeswax mix warmed between my palms.
I'm getting great hair days with my hair routine. My hair is healthy and no split, although it's almost the level of my butt.
I hope my tips will be helpful to someone as well. 🌹🌹🌹

I have been using the shikakai and Retha mix for most of my life, and have nice luxuriant hair in my fifties. Though, for the last couple of years I’ve become lazy and have been using herbal shampoos and conditioners from stores that claim to be fully organic, parabens free. But these have taken a toll on the silky texture that my hair used to have. Thank you for inspiring me to go back to my old routine. I like your aloe vera based cleansers too. Also handy is the trick to freeze the remaining shampoo in ice trays. It is tedious to soak and boil the ingredients every time I was my hair.

It's been three weeks I've started using the mixture of Curry leaves, Onion, Aloevera and Castor as my hair oil and mixture of Reetha nad shikakai as my hair shampoo.. It's really worthy! New hair strands started to grow and nowadays my dandruff level is decreased.. I'm so happy for that!

All the ingredients are good except Castile soap or shampoo. Only shikakai or Aritha powder is enough to remove all the dirt and oil from your scalp. I use oil mix twice a week and wash with Shikakai powder. It is as good as bottled shampoo to remove any tiny trace of oil. For conditioner I use aloe Vera gel or rice water. The times when I wash my hair without oiling, I mix Shikakai powder with rice water or with kalonji powder and I am good to go.
