My manual mill (Hurco Hawk 2U) doesn't have a pin on the left side of the machine for tilting it more than 30deg. Is that a common feature or does it mean you will need to hold it in place somehow so it lowers slowlier?

My pin is stuck I think, it won’t come out as far as yours… should I bust out the hammer and vice grips?
