Unfortunately that shift + option drag for multiple clips has been broken in premiere forever. You can do it, but you have to go one clip at a time, at least in my experience. Still a great workflow

Can you detail what the process would be in Davinci Resolve? Because we can NOT get it to work (using DR 17.2). Importing an EDL creates a timeline with seemingly random on and offline clips that cannot be relinked or replaced.
