Disney World | The Hurricane Situation + Animal Kingdom AM & Hollywood Studios PM

We spend a great morning in Animal Kingdom, including our best Kilimanjaro Safari ever, riding some of our favorite rides, and playing at the dig site! Jess and I sit down and talk about our experience with the hurricane that was on its way to Orlando. Our evening is spent in Hollywood Studios!

Thank you for still vlogging for us admist the thoughts that must’ve been going through your minds. It was the better decision for you all to stay there. I’ve heard even other Floridians sometimes evacuate to Disney because they know it’s much safer and they can rely on the power grid there. So thankful you guys were able to be safe and still make the most of your trip ❤

Love you guys! I’ve watched your vlogs and videos for many years and I would never have considered the thought that you guys would downplay or not care about the storm or people affected by it. I know you guys genuinely care about people and it’s sad seeing how much you have to defend and explain your choices. Having been stuck in Orlando through a hurricane myself, it’s scary to choose to stay and it was brave of you to stick it out there and put other people who needed to evacuate first. It’s also brave of you to post this too knowing some people will likely choose to take it wrong, but I see you and I’m sure the majority of your other subscribers do as well ❤

We went through Hurricane Milton, my parents were in the direct eye of the storm in Tampa Bay. It was definitely scary. So glad you guys were accomodated at Coronado Springs. I appreciate Jessica and her prayers, I know they helped.

The cabins at Fort wilderness are part of DVC and you never pay for laundry at a DVC resort.

A friend of mine was stuck at Disney, too. He and his partner decided that it was better to just stay.

I love your compassion and empathy for people in the storms' paths. I am from Middle GA, and we were very lucky here. Hurricanes Helene and Milton have devastated the Southeast. Not just the coastline but as far north as the mountains North Carolina. I know y'all must have been scared, but I think staying was definitely the best decision and one I know you didn't take lightly. Hope the storm didn't scare the girls too much.
