Bought these for travel (wheels up🎉) and for caregivers. For me this is a much trickier install than my Gracos. I feel like I can’t get the install tight enough. Will go back and try again after rewatching this video. Thank you!

Thank you!!! We were having such a hard time getting it installed correctly. Pulling up the front of the cover and pulling the strap back through was EXACTLY what we needed to do! Just saved us from having to return for no reason! <3

Can you do an installation video for the safety first grow and go convertible car seat? So many of us find that it moves a lot and seems to be impossible to tighten the strap. Not comfortable even going out with little one until we get this fixed

I just put my whole body into the carseat do put that weight onto it in order to get the tightest installation.

Hi, does the belt go in front of the buckle between the babies legs or behind it? I wish i could send a pic of what i mean cuz its kind of confusing. But i use the seatbelt method thru relivant belt path

What is the tallest the child's trunk/head portion can be to stay under the 1 inch from the top for rear facing in this seat? Can't seem to find that info in the car seat's manual, or the SITS description before I buy. Wondering if my kiddo who is still rear facing in a clek foonf will be too tall to rear face with this car seat during travel. Trying to decide between this car seat and the cosco finale if she can't fit in this rear facing.

Where does the rear anchor strap go when rear facing it feels tight where the latches are but the back can lift up since there is no strap there

Can the back of the convertible car seat touch the back of the front seats? I have a 2018 explorer very compact inside. I want to move the convertble car seat from the middle to the side so i can fit in my newborn infant car seat in the middle but the convertible touches the front seats.

Is there nothing to keep the portion of the seat at the childs feet to keep it from shifting forward when rear facing? There is a 4+ inch gap under this part of the seat when I install it. It would take 2 pool noodles at least to support it.

Between the anchor connector or vehicle seatbelt, is one method safer than the other, or are they about the same?

I thought you weren’t supposed to use hooks and the car seat strap at the same time

Interesting. I just learned a new way to install a car seat with the seatbelt. I usually pull the seat belt through the correct belt path all the way until the seatbelt is locked. Then I buckle it in. After that, I push down on the seat and pull the top of the seatbelt up until all the slack is gone and everything is tight. Maybe I'll try your method of buckling it in loose and then pulling to lock it in. Although, I am used to doing it how I have always done it. I might find that your way is easier. Who knows.
