"Robots are going to take over our jobs."
GOOD! That's much better than treating workers like robots.

Elon has better intentions than most billionaires... He also plans on an affordable Tesla priced at/around 24k in 2024 as well as Tesla insurance...since you mentioned it.... I love you guys but stick to politics

Im beginning to think Elon just watches Sci-fi shows and say " hey I have enough money to make it happen.".

We have to change the mindset. If the big companies use nothing but robots instead of humans for work, so be it. Saying that humans need to work at Amazon or other exploitive places is rubbish. It's like staying with an abusive spouse because they pay the bills. We as humans will have to find ways to live well without these horrible, low wage jobs that mindless robots can do. THIS is what we should be working on.

Well, Elon Musk is creepy. In the end, it's his money. As long as the reconciliation bill increases his tax liability, I couldn't care less if he builds an army of robots. We already have an ex-president with an army of aggrieved zombies.

Will they clean the house? That’s all I need to know - 😂. It would be weird at first but if they can clean and do laundry that would be awesome!

I will never understand why y’all are so scared of technology I can’t wait to have a robot.

In the early 1800s, the Luddites were a group of English textile workers who destroyed textile machines.

We’ve worried about machines replacing us for longer than we realize.

“Human level hands. So that’s good.”
“It’s finger blades dull very quickly.”

Seriously, I cracked up. 😂😂😂

All we have to do is create AI that replaces CEOs and politicians. Then we’ll see this swept under the rug.

Funny segment but PLEASE get the facts right at least. For rockets, SpaceX has a far greater success rate than any other rocket manufacturer in history. For Tesla self-driving and driver assist tech, they crash at a rate about 100x less than all-human drivers. They have already been successful in savings many many lives. For the AI bot, the warnings are because Elon has been talking about the dangers of AI for years, and it's part tongue-in-cheek, part genuine highlighting an issue.

As for "smarter people doing the actual designing" - he is actually the design architect for Tesla and lead engineer and designer at SpaceX.

Wow, I’m the last person to defend a Billionaire, but facts are facts, and as a “news” organization TYT should do better.
Nothing they said was accurate or informed.
FSD cars are proving to be far safer, and accidents have been through human stupidity.
Tesla’s prices have dropped with each model intro, and a $25k Tesla in in development.
Talk about missing the lead. In between his terrifying talk of AI and robots, Elon openly advocated for future UBI.
Do Better.

Why didn’t Musk just say he was going incorporate Asimov’s 3 laws of robotics. That would have been reassuring.

What the hell are you guys on about? SN 15 landed perfectly and Falcon 9 has had 124 successful launches. “Great at marketing”

Shouldn't you try to learn about something before you comment on it? Missed opportunity to be serious journalists.

Engineer here, he's a fraud.
Every single piece of tech he's presented as "innovative" stands upon decades of public research and in some cases is just a flashier version of what already exists (or in the case of his vertical landing rockets has existed for decades).

He waits the public sector to take the risks and then swoops in for the credit.

So we have reached the point of dystopia where some humans will have AI slaves while others still don't have clean water, safe food, or a home to sleep in.

As much as I love TYT, once again I’m embarrassed by their lack of understanding, insight and vision regarding anything Tesla and SpaceX. Yet then I have to remind myself that Musk is a Billionaire.
If you can’t tell the difference between Musk and Bezos/Zuckerberg etc you are seriously tapped in the head.
