I force a lot of inner speach is that bad? I get distracted by it and I can't focus on stuff because of it. I think

My mother tongue is English, but my thoughts are in two different languages - the thought processing are both in Afrikaans and German yet when I communicate with others the language that will be obtained is English. I'm fascinated by how this works - does anyone have any ideas. I do understand German and Afrikaans and can have a basic conversation in both languages.

Curious to know what your thoughts are.
