Coming from Graduation Trip, this brings memories of how I was a new captain and was learning how to play and command.

Now that I look back at this after the last lesson, this whole sequence make a LOT more sense... I've always wondered why Mei was chasing Kiana on a giant obviously ME corp mech and why Kiana would refuse Mei and look so pained at the end. After Last Lesson, everything makes sense now.

If this happens after the events of Last Lesson then the reason why Mei's using a ME mech makes sense since Einstein and Tesla are allies now, Kiana refusing Mei also makes sense since she's probably both embarrassed to go back after all she's done and scared that god kiana may come back, Kiana's pained look is probably because she wants to be back with everyone but is scared of herself and the possible rejection from others for what she's done. Heck, even the golden eyes when she's in KM is explained as god kiana has already been released.

If this is true, then good gosh I have to applaud MiHoYo for this because they obviously planned the whole story through over a year in advance...

That still won't stop me from tossing a brick at their windows for killing Himeko though.

At 1:00 you see the Shicksal mark is cut. Kiana's eyes look exactly same as those of God Kiana's when she uses her ability, and the sign on her chest is also the mark of Sirin project. I suspect this PV scene took place after Himeko's sacrifice to save Kiana.

Cecilia had a really positive influence on Sirin. The "Ich liebe dich" (I love you) is the one of the best gifts and legacies she had left behind for the world in the form of "Kiana" - Sirin and K-423.

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion as to the story behind this, so I thought I'd explain a bit based on what I know.

This occurs after the event with Himeko but before the events that caused her to become the void drifter. Kiana (the one we follow in the game who is technically a clone of the original Kiana but with the 2nd herrscher's core implanted in her) is on the run because she did go herrscher and kill a very large amount of people before Himeko was able to free her from the 2nd Herrscher's control. She gets the texts from Mei at the begining, who is now in control of her father's company of ME which has access to Arahato mech we saw in the manga. It is unclear if this is the same mech or one of the same design, but it seems very similar.

Kiana runs away from the mech initially, but as the fight begins we can see Kiana allowing more honkai energy from the 2nd herrscher core to come into her. We know this because the battlesuit she is wearing, White Comet, has the ability to transform into the Knight Moonbeam god suit if exposed to enough honkai energy, as we saw in the AE Invasion manga. That is why the suit seems to just materialize, because it was being fused from the honkai energy and the White Comet battlesuit.

The symbol that appears on her chest before she releases the energy in the "Lightwing unleased" strike is the symbol of the 2nd herrscher. This combined with the change in her eyes from the normal shape to the target symbol shows that the herrscher side is really close to taking over her. Due to her almost being taken over, it is likely the herrscher side influenced her attack causing it to cause unnecessary damage instead of the precise strikes we see in the manga where Kiana visits the historical archives. We can see her fighting for control at the end signified by the heavy breathing and Kiana trembling as she was about to unleash that final finishing strike as Kiana doesn't want to hurt anyone where the 2nd Herrscher wants to kill all of humanity. We can see that Kiana won this time, as instead of finishing off the mech, which was the symbol of Mei, she instead kisses it. However, the words "Ich Liebe Dich" that show up at the end are the words commonly spoken by Sirin, the 2nd Herrscher, so we still see that Kiana has only won temporarilly and their fight will continue.
