I love everything you do and everything that your about. Sadly I don't think I can use any of your improvements at least until the 5 year warranty is up. (Here in Canada, they include it free of charge with a handful of options that also come standard.) I've subscribed, and will tell all my CF Motoheads about your channel. Thank you 👍I just ordered one. just one note please make sure the spring is strong enough. seen other styles on different makes and weak springs were an issue.

I had the ebrake installed with the new calipers by my dealer after the new CFMOTO bulletin came out. Pedal is horrible, not even safe. I’ve read 100’s of comments of people having the same problem on many different platforms . I’m ready to go back to not having one. Would be a great diag for a future video @R.N.GPerformance

Just Is the shop busy or are you basically working on your own rides and making videos, , , and that is a good quickie mickie mouse fix, ,,,but i am pretty sure that park feature would be getting fixed by a dealer under warranty, , simple linkage adjust or a major transmission problem, , but hey its a nice looking bandaid on a cut off finger lol, , keep up the work my friend, , and keep making content

Nice simple fix. Surely the one they put on the 24 can be combined into a kit and made work on 23? I hope you thinking about making that kit?

I’ve got the same machine, (2023 without the handbrake)
My major issue isn’t being able to put the machine in or out of park when not on flat ground, but when I go to takeoff facing uphill, you can’t hold the brake and accelerate at the same time, as the computer won’t let both functions happen simultaneously.
Not much fun if you have to stop and then start again on a sketchy uphill section.
I disconnected the brake signal wiring, which allowed me to hold the brake and accelerate to take off without rolling back, but it ended up with a fault code due to disconnection.
I’m looking into changing out the rear brake calliper assemblies and fitting a proper handbrake from the 2024.

Great video! The notching idea works but it’s worth mentioning that similar kits on the market come with a plate that bolts to the side of the brake pedal arm. The red hook catches on that plate, thereby eliminating the need to grind a notch in your pedal arm.

Seems like a safety issue that should be recalled. Do these still have the weak parking pawl that likes to break off? The gen 1 had issues with it and could send one unintentionally down the hill if you didnt know better.

My dealer is selling me 2023 cfmoto 800 trail and says it’s a d2 model but I’m confused because it has the parking brake lever and all the videos I’ve seen show that model not having the parking brake and I can’t find anything online about the difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have made two of these for different SxS's over the years and with the Polaris having the brake pressure switch this put undue stress on it and it failed on me as I would put it in my toy hauler and apply the parking brake, anyway I had to short some wires to start it for a couple of rides. Not sure if the CF has this type of switch.
