Best Way to Brake Bleed an ATV

Some of the bubbles you see are because of the loose connection of the hose. After using this process you can pump the lever a couple of times to insure the brakes are tight.

For anyone who sees this and needs an explanation even though you shouldn't need it..

Step 1: Attach one end of tube to brake bleeder and loosen the valve.

Step 2: Use your mouth and suck on the line until tube fills up, close valve.

Do this on each side quite a few times and you will gain brake pressure. DO NOT KEEP PULLING BRAKE LEVER IN.. trying to bleed these brakes like a car just will not work.

Thank you for posting this... I had this same issue on my CBR and had to have someone bleed the front brake for me. Just replaced pads on daughters ATV and ran into the same issue.. this fixed it quick.

For 40yrs you’re trying to tell me all I had to do was hook a hose to it. 😂

Some things you could have explained: engine running? Master cylinder open or closed? A little process explanation would have gone a long way.

I'd just go without brakes at that point lol

Yep! Way to short of a video. Too many unknown steps for someone who has never bleed brakes!

The only thing he didn't show is that you pump and hold the brake down and open then close the bleeder screw to let off the pressure. It's basically common sense for everyone watching
