Look at your 60' not your 1320' because in the end your 60' is what really matters

I kept thinking this video looked familiar. Then I realized you were at Bradenton where we always drag race.

Anyone else notice the freedom factory at 4:13

Couple of things. Courtesy staging. Double bulbing noobies are annoying. Also, the car with the turnaround lane has the right of way at the end of the track, you don't want to turn in front of a car that might not be able to stop.

Great explanation! Especially about the driver, make sure you can learn to drive well before sinking to much money in it lol not everyone can grasp the driving aspect! If thats you either save your money or start thinking about finding you a driver for your car and decide if thats the route you wanna take. No point in dropping stacks and stacks of money in a car that you can't get down the track in at its full potential

My first time I ran a 12.4, now I'm down to 11.8. I should be looking at 11.6 if they ever decide to prep.

I wouldn’t bother burning out on street tires. Slicks get better traction when heated up. Street tires get slick when hot. And it wears out the tread for no gain.

I’m about to take my grandmas Corolla to the drag strip

Here's a serious question: will I get laughed at for showing up in my SXT challenger? ☹

Rule one: lock your visor down. 80% of vets don’t do it.

If the strip doesn't have a way to go around do you just go through it?

How many of you have seen women at the drag races (racing, not as spectators)? I’d really like to race since we just got a permit here where I live but I don’t want to be the only female racer.

I have a 2016 camaro rs 8-speed automatic. At the start of the race should I push the pedal all the way to the floor, or do it at a decent speed then slam on the gas? I’m new to this, so if I ever drag race I want to know what I’m doing beforehand
