Why high pass filters could be ruining you mix!

We use high pass filters all the time and they can often be a life saver but many people don't realise HPFs usually introduce a huge dollop of phase distortion. This can cause massive cancellations and undo all your hard work, especially on those precious low frequencies in the drums!
