Inferior Shoulder Joint Mobilization

Показать описание
The inferior glenohumeral joint mobilization is a shoulder mobilization that is thought to improve mobility and decrease pain by sliding the humeral head down in the socket.

While it’s unlikely that the humeral head is actually moving much with this mobilization, it can be helpful when someone is experiencing pain with overhead movements.

Patients often ask if there is a way they can perform something similar at home. This strap technique is one way in which this can be accomplished on your own. The strap is placed over the humeral head and a downward glide is created with the other arm.
