I love how Peppino is just so insane when fighting and scared every second when he’s idle. Also I think Peppino is actually a war veteran, so that’s probably why. (Note: he isn’t from what replies say, but it’s mixed so idk. Also mike, do not kill the green blob (aka snotty), you need him alive to get close to 100% the game.

Peppino is not related to Gustavo in anyway; according to the lore, Peppino is a Human, while Gustavo is a Gnome (as indicated by his shorter stature, childlike and optimistic personality, and his association with the level called "Gnome Forest, " which is the first level where you play as him and Brick, allowing poor Peppino to take a break).
They also never knew each other prior to the events of Pizza Tower, with Gustavo offering to help Peppino out because... he's just a REALLY nice guy (also, he's mildly curious about what the inside of the Pizza Tower is like). After the events of the game, Gustavo agrees to work with Peppino at his Ristorante, makin' the Pizza, Calzones, and Pasta, and completing deliveries using Brick as his mighty steed.
And even though Peppino is based on Wario and Gustavo is based on Mario, unlike the two rivals, Gustavo and Peppino do become Best Friends, with Gustavo offering Peppino emotional support during his neurotic and pessimistically timid moments, while Peppino keeps Gustavo grounded in reality, tries to protect him from wandering blindly into danger, by showing him that not everything ends happily ever after like in a fairy tale, and teaching him to be more careful.

The reason people say Gustavo is a nice guy unless you mess with him is because Peppino's original task in the gnome forest stage in one of the games beta builds was that Peppino was meant to assist Gustavo in delivering pizzas door to door, and if the player fails to deliver them, it will result in a cutscene showing Gustavo powering up, then charging at Peppino and beating the crap out of him.

The Noise is based on a character from an old series of Dominoes ads, called "The Noid"
His attacks are inspired by moves the Noid did in various advertisements. Also, the pink one is his wife, Noisette

What I like about the Golf level is that they took what should've absolutely been a gimmicky mess of a stage and made a super fun, fluid level

If you know what you're doing and ramming into the ball at full speed its so smooth, a stage I was ready to hate when I saw the name and took a guess what that meant became one of my favorite stages

Heck yes! First time being less than an hour early!
Awesome playthrough Mike, keep up the amazing work :))

15:48 "in golf, don't you have to get less strokes"

proceeds to rapidly increase strokes by bouncing on the weird ball guy

The super taunt has nothing to do with being in the air. You need to hold up and taunt when the lighting is around you.

And you need to be taunting in front of the gate, and when you do it only gives you more points. Not more time.

For the perfect homemade pizza:
Preheat oven and a baking sheet to 240C/fan 220C.
Mix strong bread flour, salt and instant yeast together in a large bowl. Quickly stir in warm water and olive oil and bring together to a rough dough.
Tip out the mixture onto a lightly floured worksurface and knead for 5 mins until you have a smooth, springy dough.
Roll out into thin rounds (you may have to stretch it with your hands a little) about 25cm across and place on floured baking sheets.
Add your favourite toppings (such as tomato passata, mozzarella, vegetables or cured meats), place the floured sheet on top of the preheated sheet and bake for 8-10 mins until the pizza is crisp.

The Noise boss is for sure a reference to Domino's old mascot, the Noid!

Hey Mike, I highly recommend getting all the secret tower treasures (the ones you get by unlocking the door with the janitor), you'll probably see why when you reach the end of the game.
Also at Floor 4 (The Slum) *DO NOT KILL SNOTTY* (The green cheese guy) please

Fun fact! Gustavo's rat is named brick

I LOVE the fact that Bijuu Mike didn't react to The Noise at all. That's comedy gold right there. You expect a big reaction out of him but nope. Genius. ^^

I would say that it would be better to prioritize the mach run to defeat enemies unless you absolutely need to grab the enemy. If you mach run, almost any enemy except little john cubes will immediately drop their guard allowing you to hit them without getting hit by the fork or weapons they carry.

just a tip: in order to get a P rank you have to do every 2nd lap in a level, keep your combo, and dont take damage at all
edit: you also have to find every single secret in each level

Also bijuu, collecting all of the treasures unlocks the 'true ending'. (Credit to Melvin.)
