My theory for Fake Peppino’s back story is that whatever government owned the lab in the WAR Level had a special interest in Peppino’s inhuman levels of speed, strength and Endurance.

So during the efforts of the war or after so, there were clone experiments taking place to make a perfect replica of peppino, and to essentially create an army of Unstoppable killing machines.

They have managed to make some clones but they were incredibly unstable. They kept falling apart and never really had any mental capacity other than instinct. Until there was one, the true fake peppino we fight in Bruno’s pizza is the closest they got to replicate Peppino’s abilities most closely.
However, the mental state of the clone was extremely unstable, and didn’t really have any self control and would often be to rough when interacting with the scientists. So when they inevitably attempt to assimilate Fake Peppino, he got defensive and had to run away, while on the run from the government, he probably learned about Peppino’s pizza and realized how much he resembled Peppino.

So to seek refuge, he found an abandoned pizza restaurant and has been trying to pose as peppino to hide from the authorities

And when he comes across Peppino. He isn’t trying to be aggressive, he acts more like an excited puppy and wants to play. Cause I like to believe he can tell that they are related.

simple theory:

one of the clones in the war stage just escape(somehow) and he just use the floor 4 as one zone to reproduce himself (as we see in the boss fight) so he just find "BRUNOS PIZZERIA" and bc its a similar name of what he was created to destroy, he just kill bruno and that may explain the strange trash bags in the back ground. so when we fight FP he is just in a more mature clone age for being able to think and know what is he doing developing his own personality

Im still thinking bruno isnt the one cloning. There's no way he can do that without pizzahead noticing, not to mention the fact that if the clone turns out to be better at cooking bruno will prpbably get fired or something.

I always thought Fake Peppino was an analogy for big companies buying local businesses to trick people into buying from them, like Red Robin and Donatos Pizza for example.

I got two ideas: Fake Peppino is a doughy clone created by Pizzaface to mimic and attack Peppino, but the seller for this is that we see other fake Peppino’s in the war stage, they just aren’t as powerful. My second idea is that Fake Peppino was made of sewer waste in floor 4, since it’s mainly pipe based.
