I grew up with my friend Josh all through school and after. Terry and Dawson were his dad and little brother. Thank you for showing the strength and love of our amazing community. ❤

If that tornado was only a quarter mile south of where it blew through I wouldn't be here typing this. I am a husband and father myself... and this whole event haunts me to this day. Even more mind boggling is the fact there was little to no indication anything happened in my neighborhood aside from loss of utilities. Reminds you how fragile and ephemeral life can truly be.

As always, love David's human interest reporting. Ty, David. Watched it on tv, but wanted to post a comment. 🙂

This still haunts me even though i lived south of here when this happened. i went to school with Todd. Terry Curtis was just in the shop where I work the friday before! My father lives in the same neighborhood that Todd & Sue lived! Thank god he lived at the far end of that subdivision!! Everyone was asleep!! So sad!

Prayers for the families of the 25! You can rebuild, yet you are never the same after losing a loved one.

It’s crazy because, didn’t this tornado occur when there was only a 2% or 5% tornado risk for that area ? So sad and goes to show why even on the not high level days you have to stay weather aware

Mind blowing and fishy how these tornados are always 5 to 10mph away from a ef5. Being fema and insurance pay out according to rating knowing our govnt
