This what the graphics always looked like in my head when I was a kid playing back then...

I think Azuremyst is the only one that captured the feeling for me!

Wooow this looks amazing. I would waste another 20 years of my life on this.

Wow’s cartoony graphics is what made it withstand the tooth of time so well. I’m all for WoW in Unreal engine 5, but they should keep it slightly on the cartoony side for it to feel like warcraft imho

I don't so much care for excessively amazing graphics but rather a revamp of things like fully voiced quests and other things such as that

Been playing wow since 2004, I love this change.

One thing that I have been wanting for years now is zones to be expanded and made bigger. Now with dragon riding, you can get across zones way too quick. It doesnt feel like a world anymore. What this video looks like is exactly that. Vast, big zones that would take long to get across on foot and just a bit quicker with dragon riding.

I think this would be the 100% solo game because making it an MMO would cause PC's to explode worldwide from pure awesomeness

About the advantages and disadvantages of having a 3D character model spectating from a distal leg-angled perspective—possibly referring to a camera view positioned near the character's leg, looking outward or upward.

Pros
✅ Unique Perspective – Offers a fresh, dynamic viewpoint that isn't commonly used in games or animations.
✅ Emphasizes Movement – Can highlight lower-body motion, making it great for parkour, running, or combat animations.
✅ Cinematic Effect – Creates an interesting perspective that can be used for dramatic or stylized shots.
✅ Tactical View (if in gameplay) – Could allow players to see around obstacles or under objects in specific scenarios.

Cons
❌ Limited Field of View – Might obscure important elements (e.g., character's face, upper-body actions, or environment).
❌ Disorienting for Players – If used in a game, it might be unnatural or difficult for players to control.
❌ Obstruction Issues – Legs or other objects could block the camera, requiring extra effort in collision handling.
❌ Not Always Practical – May not work well for all character interactions, such as dialogue-heavy scenes or precise gameplay mechanics.

Stormwinde gave me goosebumps of just imagining it becoming true

Reminder world of warcraft is not a 1:1 of the real azeroth, read the books by Chris Metzen, goldshire is a lot more than just 3 houses and a blacksmith for example

This is not a game anymore, is a life story for those who enjoyed in the last 20 years the adventures in this fantasy world.

The great effort put into creating these images is certainly admirable, but I hope they never make a version of WoW like this. You'll never convince me that 'more realistic' means 'more beautiful'; in fact, from what I see, iconic places that were vividly etched in my memory for their strong artistic characterization now become generic images of places already seen in a hundred other games, games indistinguishable from one another. Duskwood exemplifies perfectly what I mean.

Even if we don't get a WoW 2 (I think we will after World Soul Saga concludes), I would love to see Xbox put out a WOW Single Player story similar to what LoL is doing but on a much grander scale. This Grunt demo perfectly shows off what that would look like!

Imagine this - these could be the graphics for a single player console game.

Even if wow 2 was released, it should never lose its art style. Making it with realistic graphics will be a recipe for it being outdated really quickly.

That is absolutely amazing! I would literally pay $1000 for this to happen.
