I think as long as you aren’t playing ranked some of the low rank characters can actually kick some butt. Personally I’ve only been playing for a few months but getting Penny from the free log in was a saving too somehow, still kicking butt at gold one mastery (she’s the only person I play).

My friend actually has something similar going on. He bounces between Lily and Doug for his character choice and has a record of 17 kills with Doug.

The F tiers, in some cases, can be good if the situation calls for it. Especially if they’re low enough people don’t know their gimmicks. Throwing an attacking Edgar away with cannon placement knock back for Penny or holding onto ems in the last few seconds with Doug’s Hotdog are some secret skills a surprisingly amount of people don’t know.
