When someone's entrusted of taking care of your family members, you would think that the corporation that hires them would do appropriate background checks and would call the references and places where they worked in the past. Frequently, this is not the case. A lot of nursing homes are understaffed and they're in a big hurry to get more bodies into that facility so that they can meet staffing requirements.
