'you're gonna catch me' [tokka]

In which I discover I only really like vidding verses of songs because they give me non-repetetive lyrics.

You know you want to because I'm immensely interesting, and I post things like what could be a huge doctoral thesis on why Danny Phantom and Avatar are both awesome and similar.

Ch'yeah.

Although I still don't understand the point/know how to use tumblr, so if you follow me, you can have fun watching me screw up. :)

So, this video. I had a list of THREE videos I'd started: "The Mess I Made" with Zutara, "For You Only" with Tokka, and "I Won't Let Go" with Tokka, just because you know I have to take things literally. Well, I started them and THEY ALL SUCKED SO BAD.

So I thought maybe my problem was that they were all slow songs and I wanted to edit something with more beats. So I'm not sure how I ended up with this song, but I did. Because I thought the parachute part fit the finale. Unfortunately, that's *all* that I could fit, so I shortened the chorus and just...put clips from the finale over and over. :P Brilliant.

I think the verses worked pretty well, though...and the overlays are blue and green because water and earth and yeah. It sounded better in my head. :3

Also, Aang kept getting in the way in this. MOVE YOUR BALD HEAD, AVATAR, TOKKA IS TRYING TO HAPPEN!

I like it. :) The beat-hitting-ness and effects were really great, but as always, it's the literal lyric hitting that is the best part. Well, that and the fact that it's TOKKA. I mean... :D

I'm pretty new to Tokka + I've never liked it or even wanted to, but now I've suddenly started to like it and your video isn't helping me at all to not ship it! You already had me at 0:05, damn. I want to thank you for making such a beautiful video like this! *3*

Haha, don't feel guilty at all; I'm glad to hear your opinion. :) I just have a really strong affinity for cartoons and animation in general, so I tend to hop around a lot within that genre. And good luck finding time to watch Danny Phantom! Have you not seen it before? I'd say it's an acquired taste, but once you get past the childish humor, the plot is dark and deep. :) Which is what I so enjoy.

@SarahDeaneRob1 Yes! I know what you mean. I probably don't support it in context of the show. She's too young for him at this point in time...but I mean, if Katara/Aang can happen, I don't really see the problem with Sokka/Toph. :P It's about an equal age difference, I should think. Plus girls mature faster than guys. ;) But yeah...IN THE FUTURE! 8D

The fact that there are string instrument noises in the background is the only thing remotely appealing about it. :P Like I said, I don't know where this song came from.
