Tesla Track Tool Runs 2023 Tesla Model 3 Performance In Autocross At Crow's Landing Run 4 of 6

Clearly the red eye watching me from the Tesla's Track Mode G meter is a tribute from Elon Musk to Stanley Kubrick for his terrifyingly chilling HAL 9000 computer from his 1968 film titled 2001:A Space Odyssey. "I'm Sorry Dave..... I'm afraid I can't do that"..... ironically fitting for the ever watching Tesla.
This is the longest course many of us had ever run! It was approximately 2 miles in length with high speed straights amalgamating into ever tightening turns. We were only able to make 6 runs each due to the expansive course. The event was held at the NASA Crow's Landing Airport near Patterson, CA. And is in fact a concrete paradise! Thank you again to Porsche Club of America for putting on this Bonus event. AX-10. What a great bunch of enthusiast!
Again I saved my best run for last!
Results.
I placed 34th out of 63 overall. And 8th out of 22 in my class.
My Runs:
Run 1: 142.831
Run 2: 133.872
Run 3: 136.952 (1 Cone)
Run 4: 138.686 (1 Cone)
Run 5: 130.747
Run 6: 127.882 (1 Cone)
Run 6 is when I started to see the course. Autocrossers often offer advice. And I listen and really appreciate their input. One piece of advise I hear a lot of is that you need to look at or see the next few cones after the next one. And I have noticed that when I do that I loose track of what is next. For me it is only when I can make repetitive runs allowing me to build the course in my mind that I can focus on the next cone while instinctively knowing the best apex to the next cone and so forth. This is the most challenging part of the process for me. I find if I look too far ahead then I can't see the forest for the trees. Or is it the tree for the forest?
Btw, 3 cones were indeed harmed during my runs. One may have been totaled! Sorry cone :(
