Run 10! 40.073+1 2023 Tesla Model 3 Porsche Racing Club of America PCA Salinas Airport April 9, 2024

Crisp Spring weather, sunny skies, lots of fast cars. Fantastic day at Salinas Airport with the Porsche Club of America-Loma Prieta Region. 57 cars battling it out on a marvelously laid out course. Super tight start caused the first cone apocalypse I've ever seen. I saw someone hit the same cone 7 out of 10 times. Very challenging. I lucked out to only get 3 cones credited to my runs. I placed 32nd out of the 57 overall with a 40.387 and 6th out of 15 in the FUN class! Overall winner ran a 36.220 in a 2018 Porsche GT3 and the Fun class winner ran a 36.637 in a 2014 Porsche Boxster! Top non Porsche ran a 39.453 in a pissed off looking and sounding 1969 Camaro! I did drool a bit. Nice Car! I finished just under 1 second slower than the top non Porsche. In a stock Tesla Model 3 Performance on lame OEM tires that are about to get replaced. Hoping to pick up a second or 3 with these new Michelin Pilot Sport 4Ss. Hope to see these nice folks in the months to come for spirited Autocross racing!
