How am I just now hearing of this kid? I love him! And I love CCR! They were the first concert I've ever been to when I was 8. My mom was plastered and snuck me up to the front row and all the drunk old people just let me through cause they liked the fact I knew all the songs. I danced with a bunch of random older people and had the time of my life. Even got a napkin autographed after the show by John Fogerty. The band definitely loves seeing younger generations enjoy their music so no he wasn't trying to hog the stage I think he was just trying to help the kids out cause he was having issues with his mic. I love this kid's style and his old soul. I'd buy his album :)

I think Sawyer Mic issues were no accident, couldn't have Sawyer out sing John, no other time that Sawyer was on the voice did he sound this soft! Sawyer's voice is a powerhouse!

I'm assuming soundboard tech intentionally wanted Fogerty's mic to overpower Sawyers :(. I didn't feel as though John wanted to hog the stage. In fact, when he took a step back and smiled at Sawyer as he sang his song, he seemed joyful that his music will exist in generations to come long after he is gone. You are a legend John! And Sawyer you have a voice like no other!
