Received a mail to renew mail to renew policy, felt ashamed and ridiculous as I have been paying premium for the past five years and not a single claim in the past five years either for me or my wife, this December when I was admitted to the hospital for the first time ever in my life, I thought of claiming which was rejected by saying I had previous history which is not true, I wrote email to all concerned but of no help, I got finally reply saying that I had not submitted document or information, that's wrong I had submitted all required documents and informed them that I didn't have any such history. Well I don't think I got justice, all these for just 9000 rupees, I have already paid you nearly one lakh as premium, if you have any concern for ethics or humanitarian aspects first settle this then I will think about renewing policy. Afterall we all earn money by working day and night for a peaceful life.

The policy should have aim to help older people enabling them ro cut their health expenses. But Star Insurance company doesn't act accordingly. My claim of cataract has been denied by Star for no-submission of 15 years old people which have no relavance at all to cataract.

Don't buy star health insurance.
I purchased star comprehensive policy
Instalment base. Paid instalment regularly as quarter payment 10013/
Paid 3 instalment. Before 4th instalment my son admitted as in patient due to dengue positive. We claimed cashless as per policy conditions. They rejected claim
Demands to pay entire premium for next two year. I paid hospital bill by cash . Star health mis guides. Pls go other health insurance companies.

No claim No settlement but if you are late in renewal of policy no matter you can renew it after 2months
Company think that If somebody dies no problem but he must be selected hospital

Please don't take star health Insurance plan, they will be giving only 25 to 30% of your claim.

Do not take a Star Health policy... as most Star Health policies do not pay or reimburse medical care fees (which include nursing boarding and resident doctor and cleaning fees)... medical care is a major part of hospitalization.. Still it will be not paid by company which can be a big part of your bill (20% to 30%)
