Received a mail to renew mail to renew policy, felt ashamed and ridiculous as I have been paying premium for the past five years and not a single claim in the past five years either for me or my wife, this December when I was admitted to the hospital for the first time ever in my life, I thought of claiming which was rejected by saying I had previous history which is not true, I wrote email to all concerned but of no help, I got finally reply saying that I had not submitted document or information, that's wrong I had submitted all required documents and informed them that I didn't have any such history. Well I don't think I got justice, all these for just 9000 rupees, I have already paid you nearly one lakh as premium, if you have any concern for ethics or humanitarian aspects first settle this then I will think about renewing policy. Afterall we all earn money by working day and night for a peaceful life.

Don't buy Star Health insurance plan.... I had worst experience when my father was hospitalized. Company shared a number of a person to assist in claim settlement, When I called that person he replied very rudely that "Please connect with customer Care, Don't call me for claim assistance". It took us 13 hours of waiting to get discharge from hospital. i thought this is an exception but it was same for every Star Health insurance policy holder. so, Big NOOO to Star health.
