Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyy awarded medals to servicemen and servicewomen of the Ukrainian National Guard who showed "courage and dedication" countering Russian aggression.

“The test of this moment is the test of all time,” Biden said in a speech delivered at the Royal Castle, a Warsaw landmark that was destroyed in World War II and rebuilt using the rubble in the 1970s-80s.
Biden said Russia’s war against Ukraine is “an example of one of the oldest human impulses, using brute force and disinformation to satisfy a craving for absolute power and control.”
“It’s nothing less than a direct challenge to the rule-based international order established since the end World War II,” he added.
About 3,000 people, including Ukrainian refugees, gathered outside the castle to watch Biden speak on a live stream.
“We must commit now, to be in this fight for the long haul,” Biden said.
