The beauty of Mother Mary's virginity is that all of us have become her children. God kept Mary a virgin so that all God's children could have a Mother. Mary's virginity is not a negation of human sexuality but the affirmation of her spiritual motherhood.

Another argument is in Ezekiel when the prophet describes the temple. The Temple is obviously Jesus. But He also describes a wall around the temple through which God enters the gate. And once He enters is shut and remains shut forever.

If Jesus is the Temple. Mary is the wall. The gate through which God enters is her womb.

Look at the miraculous image of Guadalupe. God Himself painted that! It's incredible. Like in Revelation, in the image of Guadalupe there is a lady clothed in the sun and with the moon at her feet. The same lady who appeared to St. Juan Diego.

I can understand an issue with the immaculate conception or the assumption, if one doesn’t understand these dogmas fully, but the perpetual virginity of Mary just seems odd to not agree with. It’s a very shallow reading of the text to think Christ had half siblings.

Why do they always attack the blessed mother. They say they love Jesus and yet they disrespect his mother and doubt his grace, mercy, love and ability to keep her pure. Yes he was her saviour because he enabled her to remain sinless.

Great video and I really appreciate the videos on Mary and discussing our belief on why she is important. I have a hard time explaining to other people properly like other denominations. So this is very good on the history and biblical scriptures on Mary virginity

Can we at least agree it’s a faith issue. No amount of debating will ever work. You either believe the church was founded by Christ or ya don’t. Without that you’re just talking in circles about Mary.
