WARNING: I feel like mentioning the reason WHY you boil the water first is important. There is an amoeba known as N.Fowleri that has a 99% mortality rate. They live in warm fresh water (similar to that of water sitting stagnant in a pipe) and can only enter you via nasal passage. There isnt much they can do once you have it except give you meningitis meds. It is very rare to find in tap water, but all tap water fatalities have been from nasal flushers. Boiling the water 100% kills any bacteria. Please, please, please boil the water first its worth the extra time

I literally decided to try it for the first time yesterday. I've always had problems with blocked nose, it was so bad that trying to free it by blowing it would cause bleeding almost every time. I was unsure about the irrigation at first, but gosh, I could breath afterwards! I mean, I felt the air in my brain!
Best feeling ever

Edit: No, I'm not a bot 😂 it's an honest opinion!

This thing improved my life significantly!!! I have suffered with chronic sinusitis for about 8 years. Ear infections, eye infections and sinus infections constantly.
I take allergy medicine daily and get allergy injections monthly for the past two years. Nothing helped.
I’ve tried sinus rinses before but I’ve been to blocked up that nothing helped.
I bought this machine last month after another sinus infection.
I said why not.
Changed my life. For the first time in 8 years I can taste, smell, sleep through the night without a heating pad on my face. I can breath out of both nostrils.
Amazing. I use this machine twice a day everyday. Changed my life. Worth the money and the practice.

Something to add for people who need to use this because of allergies!

Although it will take longer, not only should you make sure the water is clean, absolutely make sure whatever device you’re using is sterile too! The blood vessels in the membrane of your nose are so sensitive it doesn’t take much bacteria to get very ill.

Sterilise everything, and you’re good to go.

If anybody is wondering why you can't use tap water, or at least non-boiled tap water, is because it could contain bacteria or even free living amoeba. One exple being the so called 'brain eating amoeba' n.fowleris, which travels to the back of your nose, up the olfactory nerve, and into your brain. It's extremely rare, but this is one of the common routes its happened, the others being untreated water parks, white water rafting, etc. Oh, and it's pretty much always fatal once it gets on there, so always make sure to use distilled or boiled water to be safe if you're going to use one of these; amoeba also can't usually survive in salt (saline) environments/solutions.
