I hope it doesn't take an entire season for Stannis to reach Winterfell.

I enjoyed the episode, but to me the biggest bullshit in that scene for me was the Unsullied. Today we learned that TV Unsullied, when faced with larger numbers, break formation and get easily overpowered. I had so many questions as I watched that scene.

1) Why did they not form up? They could have easily won that way.
2) Where was this intense Astapori training that they had received? Have the singing whores of Meereen somehow numbed their skills?
3) Why was GreyWorm, leader of the Unsullied and one of Dany's greatest fighters and commanders, leading a group of like 6 men?
4) Fuck it. Why was he, as leader of the Unsullied and *one of Dany's greatest fighters and commanders* leading a patrol at all? Doesn't he have captains who can do that for him? Just from a broad perspective what if he was to die, like he could very well be at this minute. It would be like Barack Obama fighting at the front lines in the Helmand province in Afghanistan. He has subordinates who can do that shit for him while he micromanages his forces.

Really hate that Barristan is gone, I like gray worm but Id prefer he died, now we lost the last True Knight.

"You have no idea what people will do. All your books and you still don't know." -Selyse Baratheon, Episode 2, Season 5.

D&D have made it pretty clear that they will be killing off a lot of people that are alive in the books. If you don't like it, then stop watching.

Wow. D&D really put a middle finger to the book fans.

FUCK THAT! What was the whole point of even including Ser Barristan in the show? They didn't give him an integral purpose to the story, and they gave him such a shitty death. It's like bringing Jory Cassel back to life to assist one of the Stark kids and then killing him off a few episodes later.

Now winter is truly coming and it's bringing Drogon along!

Almost all enthusiasm I had for the show was ruined with Selmy dying. It's like "Oh let's surprise them and kill off someone they don't expect to die cause he's alive in the books and doing important stuff hehe." Well GJ, you've turned a once credible book-based show incredibly pleasing to watch into glorified fanfiction to suit your own needs. Shame on these writers.

So many rowing scenes last episode, kept me thinking about poor Gendry, rowing that boat till the end of his days..
Anyway episode four was alright... still has the D&D fanfiction logic flaws, but every episode the past two seasons has that. Like Loras, one of westeros greatest knights, doesn't even put up a fight when getting arrested? Or the fact that they need to remind the audience, yet again, four episodes in a row, that Bolten killed Rob Stark? Thanks for reminding me D&D. I almost forgot.

For you people shitting over the idea that Ser Barristan would get killed by like a dozen harpies, you have been spoiled with comic book movies and spy-action films. Yes, sure, Captain America or Jason Bourne would get away from this situation, but that's only because the script says so. In reality, they would probably die. Game of Thrones is more realistic though, so when 60+ year old, unarmored Ser Barristan gets surrounded by 10-12 armed harpies, you'd probably expect him to die. It's sad. Ser Barristan was a great character who added a lot to Daenerys' story line, but it was a great way to go and also a great scene. And, yes I'm a book reader. So don't give me that bullshit about that I don't understand since I'm only a "filthy" show watcher.

BUT A MAN STILL HAS TO WAIT FOR EPISODE 5

Seriously guys, it seems like most of the book readers only watch the show so they can complain about the changes. At this point you know they're changing a lot; accept it or stop watching, or at least stop complaining about everything.

I'm agreed with brienne, sansa is in danger, bigger than ever, she shouldnt trust littlefinger and if theon doesnt save her, i hope she does, or stannis army

I'm guessing Barristan dies in Winds of Winter's Battle of Fire then? If not then I'd be very disappointed in the show for killing for shock value's sake. At least they got him to give some background info on Rhaegar and Aerys before biting the dust.
