Zip tied, vise gripped and a lil nudge in reverse worked like a charm! Impact is useable again! Thank you!

Mine at least was still pretty tough to yank out, so I put the impact driver in reverse and popped it a couple of times which loosened it up enough to yank! Worked like a charm, thank you.

The zip tie, vicegrips, and stepping on it method worked for me. Thanks for the tip

Thanks for the excellent video. Using a piece of #12 wire, some WD40, a vice, and a hammer, a thoroughly rusted-in bit sleeve finally came out of my Ryobi impact hammer.

Very helpful technique to unstick my Torx bit in my Makita impact. I tried everything but your zip tie vice grip method did the trick. Thanks very much!

I ended up using a ziplock and putting the drill in a vice. Hitting the wooden block (buffer) against the slot. It worked like a charm. Thanks for the video.

Worked like a charm! I used 2 2x4 to stand on to give me more room to clamp onto the bit. Yank, wiggle, out!
