Elegance seems pretty dynamic to me. In Cary Grant's time, a shallow, couple-of-days beard was a no-no. A gentleman could have a neat, well-cut beard / moustache, or be perfectly shaven, while shade beard was seen as untidy and careless. I think in the '80s shade beard became fashionable.

You never described the word elegant or the phrase elegant man. Let me help you, an elegant man is one who can take the difficult tasks and make them seem simple or easy. It could be simple physical like dancing or chopping wood or mental like writing a letter or speech and keeping it succinct while still communicating your thoughts. Telling your viewers to go watch a movie is disingenuous as telling them what it is not (a quick process, meathead masculinity). This shows me that you know HOW to say things but don't know WHAT you are saying. You are presenting yourself as a cheap salesman.
