I find using a wrap glove is easier on the vinyl and leaves less ‘scratches’ vs the wrap card

What the heat gun does to the front bumper is actually melt everything into a smooth surface that the vinyl adheres to, not opening up any "pores". After sanding, the surface is roughed up. A torch melts all the minute little high spots into a more gloss surface.

Looks great man. Would wrapping look okay over sun faded paint if I sanded it smooth with say 800 grit? Or 1000 grit? I have a black beetle that I’d like to look good again.
