I liked that the vampries nearest the Denali girls were quick to stop them before they did something they would maybe end up regreting. Everyoen else was just as horrifed but didn't want the girls to die pointlessly.

On the other hand, when what happened to Irena happened to Carisle, everyone lost their shit, no holding back, no forgiveness, just war.

Makes you really appreciate what kind of man Carisle is and inspires to have made so many friends willing to avenge him.
