Why did Karna have to suffer so much?

Karna, the noble one, the virtuous one, the charitable one, the son of the Sun God himself, had a life which seemed to be one long suffering. A good man, apparently not meeting what should have been his result, a good result. Why this apparent contradiction? Watch this video by Dr Jankiji to find out.

Karna joined him as a sign of respect, for he supported him when no one would support him. his sacrifice and sincerity is incomparable. suffering and death is not a big deal for him than commitment, sincerity and true love. love and respect to karna always ❤

Ved Vyas has given multiple indications that Karn was well aware of Duryodhan's impending doom... not only that, he was also aware of Krishna's divinity. (He tells Krishn that I know that Pandavs will win because YOU are on their side.)
And yet... He supported Duryodhan. All. His. Life. (Literally till his last breath.)
We feel smug saying how we turned down a guy/girl, a job, a promotion etc. for our friendship.
Good. How about turning down GOD (Or you're an atheist, turning down whatever you call SUPREME) for your friend.
That's what KARN did for his friend.
Mind you, this doesn't mean becoming your friend's Yes Man. On multiple occasions, Karn stood up to Duryodhan pointing out the folly of his actions, but... whenever Duryodhan needed him the most... He was there for his friend.
For me, this is arguably the most amazing story of Friendship.
Oh... And for those speaking against my views on Karn because he was a "Bad Guy" (i hear this often) and hence was killed on the battlefield etc... my source is the original Sanskrit Version of Mahabharat.
In Swargaroahn's Adhyaay4 Sh.6, when Yudhishthir reached Swarg... he actually saw KARN on the throne with the 12 Adityas of Sun (Refer to the pic)... As per Rigved, that's one of the highest seats.
So think. If he was meant to be one of the 'Bad Guys', would he really be given this kind of space?
And why was he given this space?
As Naarad laters says: He was true to his Dharm (That's "Duty", not to be confused with Religion). He was a real FREIND. In life... And in Death.
So a Happy Friendship Day to you all... and may we learn to be a friend... Like Sooryaputr Karn

God (Krishna) himself asked him to be the King and Karna refused him just to help his friend. If this is not nobility then what is?

You state that Karna had the wrong alignment, by choosing to fight along with Duryodhana and not the Pandavas...but he never chose it himself. Duryodhana's friendship happened. It was not planned. What Karna did plan was to display his abilities in warfare when the Pandavas and Kauravas returned from their training. Kunti - the great Kunti...knew immediately who he was, yet decided to keep mum. On seeing his ability, Duryodhana in the most cunning act yet, gave him a kingdom and made him an equal. It was only before the war of Kurukshetra that everyone came begging, asking him to side with the Pandavas. Why should he. When he was shunned, the only person who stood by him was Duryodhana. The Pandavas and all the elders had shunned him basis his caste- mocking him as a charioteer's son (of low caste). Oh! and by the way, Bhishma also knew who he was right from the start. Krishna is the epitome of cunning! Karna's killing was against the rules of warfare. And definitely very unbecoming of a great warrior like Arjun to kill him with cowardice. Karna was the greatest character of Mahabharata and suffered the most due to the lustful activities of his mother.

once pandavas Insult Karna by Using the word "Sutha puthra" at that time Dhurodhana hold his hands and said he is my friend...

some politicians change their party for their personal benefits, but Karna was not like that...

On arjun chariot lord krishna and lord hanuman sat, but on karn chariot there was no immortal being. But with his one arrow he moved arjuna chariot 2 steeps behind. Even lord krishna said that "no one can even shake this chariot but it was only karn who pushed it back 2 steps with only one step"

Karna was never on the wrong side
The Greed for kingdom was greater than relationship to pandavas.
So they defeated, Sorry, Killed EACH & every warrior in unfair means.
Duryodhan is a noble man

This is why I love Karna. He values friendship over family.

Karna was pushed by the nobles and the virtuous to chose the so called wrong side.. If he was wrong, than all those who humiliated him and denied his ability are more wrong than him. Pandavas was too proud of themselves and their upbringing that they thought the 5 of them are above all else..So, Karna was there to show them he alone is equal to each and everyone of the Pandavas. If not for the curses he receivedand the promises and vows he took, He alone would have won the war..But The story was written to show good will always prevail over the bad..

Very well said madam, but don't you think it is what Dharma says...If some one is there to help us, we should be there with him in all times. Whether it is good or bad. Pandavas also did any wrong times indeed, but they became supreme because of Krishna only. Right?

OK so Krishna wanted Karna to fight for them because they were brothers, so where was Krishna when Karna was insulted in the swayambar for being a sut putra, why he was silent then, he knew the truth about who Karna really is

In my eyes all these gods were normal people. They did everything what us normal humans do, see everyday in life.
Also the Ego these creatures had was mind blowing.

How a God gifted armoured man could have been defeated in virata war... every texts has its own character values....some say Karna is Superior & Arjuna in some... but we all believe Karna is a eldest among pandavas & even Lord Krishna had respected him & his Virtue.

Ma'am, I'm keeping myself anonymous while asking this question as my current situation relates with karna. He was my favorite character in Mahabharata and coincidentally I'm living his life right at this moment:
If you are rejected by the people whom you belonged to and there is someone who always stood beside you. Would it be great if you leave your friend to conquer the world? Won't it be a betrayal?

One simple question madam, after watching the whole clip, " what is wrong & what is right ".. I feel its only a version of each human being which vary.. Karna might took a wrong decision fighting with Kauravas... Bas hamhe aisa Vagban v nahi chahiye jo insaano ko majbur kardeta hai halaton se guzar ke sahi ke saath dene ko...

Duryodhana was only one who supported karna through out his life
So how can he leave kaurava when duryodhana need him most, he was not worng ;he was just a debtor and debtor should clear his debt that what karna did
