Hi Everyone,

In this video, I have elaborated the new updated recommendations developed by the Migration Advisory Committee (MAC) for the UK Home Office regarding the New Entrants Rule in its report published on 23 February 2024. The MAC has recommended continuing the DISCOUNTS to be applicable to NEW ENTRANTS in the UK against the minimum salary requirement.

Dr sab, thanks for the nice video. I recently got a postdoc in Uk and the HR is urging me to apply for visa before 4th April to not face salary threshold because they are offering me 34980 per year (as the phd viva is awaited so they hired me on grade 6). However, i don't have Atas so i can't apply visa at this point and tab tak 4th april guzar jaigi so this policy will be implemented. Please suggest me if i convinde the HR that i am also in the category of new entrant. Your feedback will be highly appreciated.
