HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

Alright, you're all correct! lol I totally forgot about the Thermite Grenade. I've only used it a few times since it was first obtainable, and i completely forgot about it. I think it might need some more love and care. So it's great that it was brought up. Does it need a buff or no?

Joel’s „Fire blue beam” might be confirmation that the blue beam sightings were indeed real. Or it’s the developers making fun of our constant speculation regarding stray scorcher shots…
I would love to take control of a hulk though (you know, they mentioned new „game modes” in the trailer so…)

We need melee weapons for HD2. If we can't get a sword or shovel, bayonet attached weapons are the next best thing

I am 99% sure that even a rocket devastator would feel fear when faced with four Helldivers running at it with bayonets. FOR DEMOCRACY! FOR EEEEAAAARTH!!!

The two "sniper rifles" we have right now are practically DMR rather than actual sniper rifles.

They need more ammo capacity and a "burst" fire mode.

Plus, we need ACTUAL snipers like the AMR, but in the base weapon category, maybe something "bolt action"

The Bayonet was a pretty common upgrade in the first game.

One of the weapons, The Constitution, was basically an M1 Grand and it could be upgraded with the bayonet.

Although it was a joke weapon, it was actually pretty good.

Would love to see them have an enemy on the illuminate that’s basically a beholder from dnd. Firing blue beams from tentacles, while a massive eye that watches you that acts like a signal jammer. Would be amazing.

We need to be able to pool all our medals together for new stratagems and it should go like "helldivers super earth needs your help. We need donations to finish research and development a brand new stratagem. We need all of you helldivers Thank you for your contribution."

samples should be used to unlock upgrades for weapons. HD1 had that. smgs that get stun rounds, extended mags, recoil compensators, suppressors, etc.

the thermite grenades stick, just because no one is using them doesn't make them useless

Tbh I’d really like to see more than one faction on a planet. Ofc it would have to be when they add more. Like imagine seeing the illuminate and automatons fighting as we are also fighting them. Or seeing the illuminate “protect” the bugs

id like to be able to spend 25k on a temp 5th stratagem slot for 1 mission or operation.
also maybe have a mode where the game picks everything for you, from guns to stratagems, maybe have little trophies in the ship on a wall to show that that player is good at "adapting"
