Didn't know the horn could be controlled on a DPU

Fails like these are the funniest ones

Either it's stuck, or someone's riding in it and having fun with the horn

Dang. That old YN2 AC4400CW had an automatic grade crossing sequence?

Some freight trains are now 3 miles in length, one and a half mile hooked in the back with another one and a half in mile in length
Total ...3 miles.

I watched a video once where some train hoppers actually entered the cab of a DPU… I wonder if that could possibly be the cause of some of these occurrences.

I believe this is a PTC issue. PTC can sound the horn, and if this locomotive somehow thinks it's leading the train, then it's blowing the horn FOR each crossing on approach, not just sounding the sequencer loop. Was this train blowing the horn correctly on approach for each crossing or could you not tell?

If you thought another train Was Coming, but its actually this train only, But that crossing got what it deserved, Credits to that dpu showing it who’s boss cause it’s a quiet zone

To be honest that’s pretty cool for a dpu to have it’s horn blowing and automatic crossing sequence

It’s more likely PTC controlled horn sequences. There’s a setting in PTC to automatically trigger the horn for crossings, and they may have just left that on when switching the power to dpu mode

I think someone is in the train engine

I saw something similar to this a few days ago. A rear DPU had its bell on. I saw the train a couple hours earlier and the bell wasn’t on. Not exactly sure why it would have been on

Before the trip started, they might’ve accidentally hit the Horan sequence and the horns in England are had a glitch. That’s the only thing I can think of, bro but if I was a quiet zone.😅
