The video shown in the picture is the section of the San Francisco Bay Bridge that was built in 1936. This part was not affected by the Loma Prieta Earthquake. The video did not show any of the part that was rebuilt because of the earthquake..

Once again you totally ignored the Mackinac bridge! It was built from 1954 to 1957 across the straits of Mackinac linking the upper and lower peninsula of Michigan. It's total length is 26, 372 feet nearly 3 times the Golden gate bridge. It was a huge undertaking in part due to strong winds and the limestone bedrock as well as the remote location at that time.

Um #3 is the East Portion of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. But what is shown is the West Portion.

Um, the Golden Gate Bridge connects MARIN County to San Francisco, not MERIT County.

You know, I was expecting a video on the 15 CURRENT mega projects not one on 14 past projects and 1 contested current project.

Compared to China or India, where its still developing, the US mega projects aren't too much of a "mega" (although all Americans admit that the US desperately needs its infrastructures renewed)

You have your information about the Evergreen floating bridge has been around the 1960's. The current bridge is actually two bridges. The older bridge is eastbound Washington State Highway 520 eastbound traffic and the new bridge is westbound Washington State Highway 520.

Dude. Love your site, but failing on the accuracy a bit. The San Francisco Bay Bridge has two spans - East and West. Your video discussed the design of the Eastern span but only show video of the Western span. They are two different styles of construction.

You didn’t show the actual part of the Bay Bridge that was replaced.

Totally wrong about the bay bridge, you showing the old and still existing west span. The east non suspension bridge was replaced.

Once again, and I always see this in videos having building projects is the Big Dig. I'm in Massachusetts and know how bad the whole thing was to build and taking years to do so only to have leakage and a death involved once it was complete.
