I was appointed by my sons to be the 'earth mom'. They had so many friends who had parents that wouldn't or couldn't support these young people. We didn't have much but extra space to sleep, a safe place to be their true self and an indoor bathroom! That ended when my youngest got his own place but he took our final foster son with him and we have started the procedure to adopt him. 20 years of being in a place he felt loved and safe!

Edit: Please stop hating. I've read the replies, and they are just saying that they love their parents more than Catlynn, and I'm sure they meant no offence. I find that perfectly reasonable, because Catlynn is just someone on the internet. Yes, she has helped all of us through a lot, but not all parents are bad, so if you can't accept that someone loves their parents more than a stranger online, I don't know what to say.
