Split Screen is a fun function on iMovie. In case you are wondering, I recorded the piano part first - I played the piano part while imagining singing the violin line. I don't think it could work as well if I'd recorded the violin part first, because all of the timings and nuances in the violin part are a result of what happens harmonically in the piano part.

Dear Augustin. I discovered your wonderful playing some months ago and watched several videos, then one Sunday afternoon I popped into the Royal Festival Hall to pick up the monthly programme, then there was an announcement, The concert is about to start. What concert? I asked. You were playing the Mendelssohn. 10 minutes later I was sitting waiting for the concert to start, wondering what magical force had made this coincidence happen.
